Default The Need For Gamer Tags

I know some of you share the same thoughts as I do!

How many times have you started a quest, only to have some member quit for no reason? It has happened enought to me and others!

I would like to see Gamer Tags added in the future that shows the % of times that each player "QUITS" a group!

Now I know there is DC's but maybe they can decipher the difference!

How do you all feel about gamer tags?

Something like a reputation system. Hmmm...might look in Sardelac's forum. I think someone put up an idea like that the other day.

How would do you decipher the difference between disconnect and quit? If you wanted to avoid quitting loss, then you could always disconnect...unplug modem, or config firewall, ect.

Its a great concept, but in reality not too feasible.

Remember Starcraft? Wins/Loss/Disc

And what about legitimate quits, like when everyone says "ok done farming, meet in D1"?

so.. what about allowing other players to rate the leaver's loyalty?
just ask the players that remain what they think about that person who just left..

In addition to being potentially abusable, you still have the first problem: people can disconnect due to technical difficulties, or possibly due to a real-world crisis, and there's no way to tell the difference between that and someone who leaves because they're a jerk.

You also have cases where people leave due to personality or tactical conflicts. Players might have serious disagreements about whether or not it's "legitimate" to leave a group because, in your estimation, the group has negligible chance of completing the mission successfully. Or, if one person joins a group and then goes AFK, if the rest of the group decides to quit and restart, does the leech get the right to give each of them a black mark?

I'm pretty sure the devs said in one of the interviews that they were already looking at some way to penalize chronic leavers...
